This is a picture of Brasil when she was younger, around 6 weeks of age (left). As you can see she has the full amount of coloration. It wasn't until she was 7-9 weeks that the color began to be replaced by hairs in the coat not having pigment. The picture that is (upper left) was taken 12/25/11. I added this picture so that people who are interested in breeding roans can see how the color fades over time. |
