Name: EVWD Show Down

DOB: 03/31/2011

NARR: 110552/M

Type: Russian Cinnamon with Dilutes Dumbo Hooded Smooth Coat

Status: Retired

Comments: Silly sweet boy with lovely ears and really nice coloration.  I used to think that he was a Burmese but, after pairing him with Rapunzel, a Siamese, I realized that he was not.  The litter was Russian Blue, Black, Russian Blue Agouti and Agouti.  That is when EVWD Kotoure born!

Also, look at the two pictures posted of Show Down.  He started out very light and washed out, in color.  Then, over time his orange tones deepened.  Now, he looks like a Russian Cinnamon Pearl.  I know that there are UK Minks in this line so it is possible that his coloration and changes in the color could result from the UK mink gene.

I know this because I used to have a female that looked pearl.  I bred her to a separate line that was pearl also.  All of the babies ended up black.  When I did a little research I saw that there was UK mink in the line and although they were pearl, they were UK pearl and not Am Pearl.
